At Cute Mom Clothes, I want to be completely real with you. These are clothes I’m really buying for myself to wear. I’ve had to teach myself style and fashion sense, because my mom (I love her dearly) never cared about clothes or makeup. I may not be a fashion model, but I may be the type of mom you’d see in a commercial for breakfast cereal.
All photos for the site will be taken by either myself or my husband. Or maybe my best friend. Pictures won’t often be taken inside my own house because I don’t get much light in here, but they may be taken at my mother-in-law’s house or around the neighborhood. I want to show off women’s clothes in real settings without fancy lighting or anything that would make them look better than they really do. If I don’t like something I bought, I’ll let you know why. It may not matter to you.
I’m open to suggestions if something looks off to you, but I’m no Tyra Banks. I’m a pasty woman with curves and imperfections. I have stretch marks on my stomach. I have chronic hives, though I try to touch up my photos sometimes so I don’t repulse anyone. I’m unhappy with the weight I carry in my thighs and my bottom. I may not remember to put my makeup on every time I take a picture. But I’m keeping it real for all of you out there.
